Whew! The competition is over, and the builds are A*M*A*Z*I*NG!

Now it's time for scoring! If you are not a participant, you may go to the platform and vote using the People's Choice board! Voting is open from 6pm SLT on 8/16 to 6pm SLT on 8/17. While you are there please honor our builders with a donation to the thermometer! All our prizes are paid from the donations!

August 14th Building Competition!

Yay! We are back after a 2-month break! We've been chilling, travelling, and enjoying our summer! We've missed everyone, and are very excited to make this announcement!

Calling all builders! Whether you want to show that you’ve got what it takes to build an amazing home, or you just want to improve your skills, Builder 2 Builder is the competition for you. You will interact with some of the best creative minds in SL, see the creative process in action, and get to give and receive positive feedback on builds. We welcome builders of all skill levels, provide you with a nice lot to build on in the best sandbox in SL, and reward the top builds with Linden prizes! 

This month’s theme is House of Pane, a residential home made from a variety of window styles and sizes. The home should utilise the shape, size, structure, and function of a variety of windows to create an aesthetically pleasing design that is comfortable and filled with natural light. Think about this build as a home puzzled together by windows. (see the images below)

Some features you may want to consider: scripts for privacy, open floor plan, interior walls that do not extend to the ceilings, second story floors that let in light, such as grids, grates, or other transparent or translucent materials.

You may use beams for support, but there should be no solid exterior walls. 

While the examples here have a cottage or country look, don't let that restrict your design. We encourage you to think outside the box and get creative with this competition!

You must use at least 5 different window styles. You will also want to use a variety of window sizes. (see the images below)

Who: Anyone who registers and agrees to the rules on the registration page.

Lot Size/Land Impact (prim count) to be announced on the 14th.
Entry Fee: FREE to participate; however, we appreciate any and all contributions you make, our prizes are dependent on the generosity of our builders and sponsors.

Glam Rock Cafe Awards Ceremony

The builds are built, the scorecards scored, the results are AMAZING!

Now it's time to party!

Awards Ceremony for the B2B Glam Rock Cafe Building Competition will be Sunday, May 24. This will be a 2 hour party, starting at 3pm SLT with the amazing Maveen performing LIVE, followed by the awesome Parker Static from 4-5 pm.

Come dressed in your best "80's Glam Rock" costumes and compete in the "Best in . . " contest. The best ladies' and mens' costume will each win a L$500 prize!

So grab your besties, strap on your dancing shoes, and fly on over to Bring a Friend and Stay Awhile for a rocking good evening of fun and music!

Hello Builders and Friends!

Time to drag out the big hair, glitz, and glam! This month we are drawing inspiration from Glam Rock of the 80's to create: 

"Glam Rock Cafe"

Your build should reflect the popular "Neo Art Deco" style popular in the 1980s, and be a cafe or club dedicated to music performance. Let your imagination go wild!

Who: Builders of all skill levels
When: May 15 - 17
Start Time: Friday 8 am
End Time: Sunday 6pm
Where: Little Blue Island Sandbox
Voting and Scoring: Sunday 6pm - Monday 6pm

Builder 2 Builder announces the April Building Competition

Theme: Earth Girls are Easy Mid-Century Modern

Starting time: 8 am SLT, Friday April 17th
End time: 6pm SLT, Sunday April 19th

Prim counts/land impact/lot size will be given the morning of the competition.

Builder 2 Builder March Competition

March 14, 2015 9:26:53 will be epic!

Why?? Because  3.141592653 = π

In honor of this once in a century phenomenon the theme of the Builder 2 Builder March Building Competition will be all things π!

Build entries should be constructed from circles, cylinders, spheres, and/or domes. Builds may use other shapes, but should be predominately circular. You may choose to build a complete home, business, or club, built with the average SL avatar in mind.

When: March 13, 8am SLT – March 15, 6pm SLT

Where: B2B Competition Platform on Little Blue Island Sandbox

Who: Builders of all skill levels
